OSFAQ.com has put together a AtheOS distribution on CD-ROM. If you don't know what AtheOS is, it is a high performance multithreaded graphical operating system for the PC desktop platform. It supports TCP/IP, SMP, and features a 64-bit journaling file-system. Please check it out.

Description
|
AtheOS is quite a mature desktop OS, and is already running quite a lot of software including its own heavy multithreaded GUI
system. Even the web site is run off AtheOS. The kernel was written from scratch. It supports SMP (Symmetric Multi Processing), has a built-in network TCP/IP stack. It supports loadable device-drivers and file-systems. Other very impressive feature is a 64-bit journaled filesystem! In fact, the
latest version of AtheOS runs off only a native partition. Quite a bit of
stuff has been ported over including Apache, qmail, ssh, PHP, bash, BIND,
wu-ftpd and much more.

This OS is being actively developed. Support Intel, AMD and other compatible processors.
